An appeals court ruling in the United States has allowed the SEC to proceed with a civil fraud action against the owners of a Dominica-based virtual stock market ‘game’ known as Stock Generation.
On September 13, 2001, the United States Court of Appeal for the First Circuit overturned a lower court’s decision to throw out the SEC’s action against SG Ltd.
