A UK National Crime Agency official who recently accused the Cayman Islands of failing to adequately cooperate with criminal investigations and the attorney for Danske Bank whistleblower Howard Wilkinson have been added as speakers for next week’s OffshoreAlert Conference in London.
They are Donald Toon, Director of Prosperity at the NCA, and Steve Kohn, who is one of the leading whistleblower lawyers in the United States.
Toon will participate in a session entitled ‘Offshore Intelligence: Behind Closed Doors’ along with Don Fort, Chief of Criminal Investigations at the IRS, and David Marchant, who has exposed more than 175 offshore scams since launching OffshoreAlert in 1997.
Kohn will present a session entitled ‘Lessons from the Danske Bank Case: Whistleblowing in Europe’s Financial Institutions’ in which he will discuss opportunities for whistleblowers to become multi-millionaires by exposing wrongdoing at European banks and other types of firms, not just from whistleblowing programs in Europe but also from those in the United States.
The 7th Annual OffshoreAlert Conference Europe on financial intelligence and investigations will take place at the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel, in London, on November 12-13th, 2018.
If you’re involved in high-value international finance and are somewhere else on those dates, you’ll be in the wrong place. That’s how great our event is.
