A series of major investigative news articles from a project known as ‘Cyprus Confidential’ will be breaking globally this week and, to accommodate this significant development, a session on it has been added to the agenda of next month’s OffshoreAlert London conference.
The project was overseen by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, which previously did the ‘Panama Papers’ and ‘Paradise Papers’ investigations, and the Organized Crime and Corruption Project.
“OffshoreAlert prides itself on being timely and relevant and this project was impossible to ignore,” said OffshoreAlert’s publisher, David Marchant. “So we’ve shuffled things around and ‘Cyprus Confidential‘ will now be our opening session. Given that Cyprus is a favorite jurisdiction for wealthy Russians, it will be interesting to see which Oligarchs will be the subject of articles”.
OffshoreAlert’s London conference brings together intelligence-gatherers, fraud investigators, asset recovery attorneys, insolvency practitioners, professional service providers, regulators, law enforcement, investors, victims, and other participants in high-value international finance.
Held just before Christmas on Dec. 4-5 at the Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s hotel in the City of London, it’s the perfect time of the year and place to combine business with pleasure. Meet high-level attendees during the day and entertain them at night.
