James Michael Dwyer, who until last year owned the White Sands Hotel, in Paget, Bermuda, was criminally indicted for alleged bank fraud on March 4, 2003 in his native New Jersey
Dwyer, 61, has pleaded not guilty to the one count against him, which alleges that he lied when applying for a $16 million construction loan. He was released from custody on March 5 after satisfying the $250,000 bond requirement.
