Two U. S. Virgin Islands-based companies offering offshore services were raided by more than 20 armed federal and local law enforcement agents on July 18.Officers from the Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Division in Puerto Rico and Charlotte, North Carolina and the Virgin Islands Police Department executed search warrants at the offices of Agilis Benefit Services LLC and Allied Management Partners LLC, which are located within one block of each other on Strand Street, in Frederiksted, St. Croix, reported local newspapers.
