Former Bahamas-based money manager Martin Tremblay was sentenced yesterday to 48 months in prison for money laundering, which is 22 months less than prosecutors were seeking under federal sentencing guidelines.
Tremblay, a 44-year-old Canadian national, will receive credit for the 14 months that he spent in custody between his arrest and sentencing, meaning he will be out of prison in less than three years.
