OffshoreAlert London Conference to Analyze Roman Abramovich’s Offshore Structures

Revelations from ‘Cyprus Confidential’ to Take Center Stage

Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich’s newly-revealed offshore structures will be analyzed at OffshoreAlert’s London conference next month.

The former Chelsea FC-owner’s financial arrangements were exposed last week as part of the ‘Cyprus Confidential‘ investigative project led by the U.S.-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and Germany-based Paper Trail Media.

The ICIJ’s Karrie Kehoe and PTM’s Sophia Baumann will join Franz Wild, of the U.K.-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism, to discuss the project and its findings.

Abramovich is also likely to be discussed in another session entitled ‘Are Sanctioned Russians Gaming the System?‘, which will be presented by Septimus Knox, of S-RM; Matt Getz, of Pallas Partners, and investigative journalist Peter Jones, whose employer, OCCRP, was part of the ‘Cyprus Confidential’ project.

The purpose of OffshoreAlert London is to help attendees understand what’s going on in the world of high-value international finance so they can plan accordingly, whether to minimize risk or maximize opportunity.

The event is for intelligence-gatherers, fraud investigators, asset recovery attorneys, insolvency practitioners, professional service providers, company managers, regulators, law enforcement, investors, victims, and other participants in high-value international finance.

Held just before Christmas on Dec. 4-5 at the Leonardo Royal London St. Paul’s hotel in the City of London, it’s the perfect time of the year and place to combine business with pleasure. Meet high-level attendees during the day and entertain them at night.
