Owner of Bermuda hotel files for bankruptcy with debts totaling $54 m

The owner of White Sands Hotel in Bermuda has filed for bankruptcy in the United States citing debts of $54.13 million and assets of just $6,005.
James M. Dwyer filed for bankruptcy on December 6, 2001 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
