Charlotte currently works at Binance as their lead in UK Government Affairs and Policy working closely with ministers and parliamentarians to help promote and shape the crypto-asset industry in the UK.Previous to this she worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Home Office in their Asset Recovery Team. During her time here she worked on the legislative amendments to crypto-asset recovery in the Proceeds of Crime Act now going through Parliament in the Economic Crime Bill. Working with the NCA law enforcement and government ministers on crypto-asset recovery Charlotte has seen and understands many of the issues associated with NFTs and the challenges the UK faces from both a regulatory and legislative perspective.
