Karyn is a partner in Dentons’ Dublin office. She is Head of the Litigation practice group.

Karyn’s focus is on complex commercial litigation and investigations, often multi-jurisdictional. She has particular expertise in asset recovery, white collar defense and media defense, and is recognized as an expert on eDiscovery and legal innovation.

Co-Chair of Dublin International Disputes Week, Karyn is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Financial Crime Litigators and has served as Co-Chair and steering committee member of the Forum on the International Enforcement of Judgments and Awards.






Experience





  • Lead litigation adviser to a nationalised bank in respect of legacy issues, including a number of regulatory investigations and criminal prosecutions against former officers and related litigation.

  • Advised the board of a former plc in respect of multiple regulatory issues arising from an alleged data breach, including representation in the context of a Companies Act inspection and an investigation by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

  • Advised a plc in respect of Central Bank of Ireland supervisory enquiries concerning alleged market abuse.
