More than six years after OffshoreAlert first reported about his activities, a notorious promoter of oil and gas-related investment schemes at offshore conferences has been criminally indicted in the United States.
Former car salesman David Graham Rose, 58, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was indicted on 15 counts of frauds and swindles, six counts of wire fraud, and one count of civil forfeiture at the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on January 23, 2008. If convicted, Rose faces a maximum prison sentence of 440 years and fines of up to $5.5 million.
