Last month, the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced that a record reward of $114 million had been paid to a whistleblower whose “information and assistance led to the successful enforcement of SEC and related actions”.
Next month at OffshoreAlert’s vGLOBAL virtual conference, SEC whistleblower chief Jane Norberg will discuss her agency’s program and how anyone, both domestic and foreign, can apply for rewards.
She will be joined by the head of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s whistleblower office, Christopher Ehrman; the program manager of the IRS’ whistleblower’s office, Dawn Applebaum, and whistleblower attorney Eric Havian, of Constantine Cannon law firm.Their session on ‘Rewarding Domestic & Foreign Whistleblowers: The Growth & Spreading Reach of US Programs’ is one of 30 sessions that comprise the OffshoreAlert vGLOBAL virtual conference on financial intelligence and investigations, which will be held over five days from December 7th to 11th.
The event is for all stakeholders in high-value, cross-border finance. If you’re analyzing risk, evaluating opportunity, investigating entities, resolving disputes, seeking funding, or recovering value, vGLOBAL will have it all.
